CT RENAL ANGIOGRAPHY
- An imaging technique in which, images are created using radiation technique showing blood flow from the arteries to the kidney is known as CT Renal Angiography.
- A contrast is given through veins in the form of injection, which passes through the arteries.
- This scan helps doctors to look for blockages of blood narrowing of the blood vessels, is the blood flow proper to the kidney or ballooning of the blood vessels.
- It takes only about 30–90 minutes to perform the same.
