  • CT KUB helps to examines the urinary tract.
  • For Males, along with the KUB, prostate glands are also examined.
  • Doctors advise this scan to check for urinary infection, kidney stone, or any other urinary tract disorders.
  • The urinary bladder needs to be full before going for KUB Scan.
  • Before 4 hours, when the scan is going to be performed, one should not eat.
  • It takes only about 15–30 minutes to perform the same.
