- CT Scan is a “Medical Imaging Technique” specifically used for obtaining detailed “Internal Images” of the human body.
- To study and examine the arteries and veins in the human body , check for narrowed or blockages in arteries of the heart , CT Angiography is performed.
- It helps to diagnose other heart disorders as well.
- CT Angiography is done by giving a contrast(external substance) to the patient.
- It takes about 45-60 minutes to perform the same.
